I love this Madonna and Child because it speaks to motherhood, to teaching, to expressing the symbiotic relationship of unconditional love. Together, in unison, mother and child are breathing and exhaling, ingesting red light and white light, sharing the carnal and the spiritual. They look forward and at the same time remind us of the past.
